Cape Town Brew – Beer Tasting Tour

Beer is the oldest alcoholic drink known to man. We know from archaeological evidence and even ancient recipes that we were enjoying beer as far back as 5000 BC in Mesopotamia, today’s Iraq. Some historians even think that the mysterious “manna” that God provided for the Israelites during their travels in the desert, was, in fact, something to do with beer.

WILD CLOVER BREWERY is one of the youngest additions to this rapidly growing industry. The fact that it is situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands makes it an exceptional and popular destination for locals and tourists alike.

What is the definition of handcrafted and when can you claim that?

“When you are working on your own weekend after weekend crushing malt, brewing beer and kegging and bottling beer, you know that what you are making is honestly handcrafted.” Ampie Kruger(Brewer – Wild Clover)
